What started off as a wonderful day at 5am turned into an unfortunate run of events. As we came to the bottom of Farmington Canyon, Eliot's truck got a huge piece of metal in the sidewall. We drove it about 5 blocks before it was completely flat. After finally getting the lugnuts off, the wheel was rusted on, and we couldn't get it off. This was even after calling AAA. We got it towed to Burt Bros. in Farmington. They were able to get it off but couldn't salvage the tire. Burt Bros worked over Eliot charging him $240 for each tire. Se la vie.

sounds expensive, next time in stead of buying new tires buy a locals five punch to deer valley, costs the same without the hassle.
ReplyDeleteI took Nash skiing last week, it was way fun. I skiied in the morning and Cec brought him up for the afternoon. We were both gloveless in tee shirts havinig the time of our lives. He enjoyed the chair lift up almost as much as skiing down. I got him one of those harness things, so I basically fly him down the hill like a kite. I want to take him up and do the free after three at Alta later this month or next.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to see what one of these harnesses looks like?
